By using DBConverter, you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable, not to trap you in legal language.

What the service is

DBConverter is a free online tool for converting database files between formats. We support MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, CSV and JSON. The service is provided as-is, free of charge.

What you can use it for

You can use DBConverter for any lawful purpose. That includes personal projects, professional work, open source development and commercial applications. There are no restrictions on how many conversions you run.

What we ask of you

Please do not upload files that contain malware or are designed to exploit our systems. Do not attempt to overload the service with automated requests. Do not use the tool to process data you do not have the right to access.

No warranty

We do our best to make the conversions accurate, but database migration is complex and edge cases exist. Always keep a backup of your original data before converting. We are not responsible for data loss or errors in converted output.

File retention

Uploaded and converted files are automatically deleted within two hours. Download your converted file before then. We are not responsible for files that expire before you download them.

Changes to the service

We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give notice for significant changes, but we cannot guarantee it.
