Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 3, 2026
We built DBConverter to be a tool you can trust. That means being straightforward about what happens to your data when you use it — no legal jargon, no buried clauses.
What happens to your uploaded files
When you use our conversion tools, you upload a database file. That file is stored temporarily on our server while we process your conversion. Once the converted file is ready, both the original and the converted file are scheduled for automatic deletion within two hours. We do not read, index or analyse the contents of your files. The conversion process is purely mechanical — we parse the structure and rewrite the syntax, nothing more.
What we collect through analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. This includes which pages you visit, how long you stay, what browser and device you use, and your approximate geographic region. This data is anonymised and aggregated — we cannot identify you personally from it.
What we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account, so we have no email address, name or personal profile for you. We do not read the contents of your database files. We do not sell data to third parties.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies to track anonymous usage statistics. These cookies do not contain personal information. If ads are enabled on the site, Google AdSense may also set cookies according to their own privacy policy.
Third-party services
Google Analytics processes anonymised usage data on our behalf. If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may serve ads based on your browsing history according to their own policies.
Your rights
Since we do not store personal data tied to your identity, there is nothing to request deletion of. Your uploaded files are deleted automatically within two hours regardless. If you have questions, use our contact page.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
